Born, raised and educated in Madhya Pradesh, India, Ashish Dalal is an author who writes short stories, lengthy stories, memoirs and essays. He has, to his credit, more than 100 publications in different magazines and newspapers. He writes in Hindi and he is a great admirer of older generations of authors who wrote great stories.
He currently resides in Gujarat and works as a manager with a reputed company. For Ashish, short stories are the most difficult pieces to write because an author has to finish what he wants to convey within the ambit of the story. Ashish Dalal wants to offer positivism along with entertainment to his readers. He is a firm believer in the depth and canvas of Hindi literature. He tells:
“It is heartening to see that the theme of sexual assault, gender injustice, communal issues, social and political issues, Naxalism are addressed recurrently in contemporary Hindi writing.”
Ashish has made his debut in the field of writing (in proper publication terms) with a short story collection Uske Hisse Ka Pyar. The book is available on different online stores and you can get the copy from Amazon, ShopClues and other stores. Read what many other readers are reading and prasing:
